Jean Gibran, co-author of Kahlil Gibran: His Life and World, knows Boston’s art world from a personal perspective. Her 20-year experience as a Boston Public Schools teacher inspired her to research women contributors to the city’s history. She has authored several profiles that have appeared in Boston Women’s Heritage Trail guidebooks. Currently she is an active contributor to the St. Botolph Club art committee where she curates and reviews art exhibits. Katherine French is the director of Danforth Art in Framingham, Massachusetts and a leading expert on Boston Expressionists.
